Hello all,

My name is Olga. I am a wedding and portrait photographer and designer. I live in Hobart, Australia and love to travel and explore new destinations. I always bring thousands of photos from every trip.

I started to go to art school when I was 12. I studied Painting, Composition, Art History and Sculpture as a main subject. Then I studied Photography, Graphic Design, Printmaking, Audiovisual Art and the Art of Direction for 5 years at University. In short, I learnt multimedia in all aspects and direction of all content. I graduated from University of Humanities and Social Sciences as a Multimedia Director.

I worked as a graphic designer for several years, but the art of photography has always been my passion and one day photography overpowered graphic design. I started to work as a professional wedding photographer in 2007. Now photography is my profession and hobby.

In 2010 I created a new photography business in Tasmania and disciplines like Arts Marketing and Business Management which I studied at the University helped me in this undertaking.

The name “OLsign Photography” was chosen to display my passion for the arts. “Ol” is a part of my name. “Sign” is a part of a word “design” which refers to my designers experience. “Photography” describes the nature of the business. It's all about me and my business. It all together means I combine photographic and designer's knowledge and experience to deliver creative imagery.

I use Canon Digital SLR cameras from top of range and good professional lenses in my work. I make enlargements, panoramas, collages, montages, calendars and all other types of digital photo processing. I always have a backup camera just in case. I do my best to provide the highest quality photography.

I like natural daylight for outside photos and artistic soft light for stage photos at a venue. I always strive to realize your dreams and what you expect from your wedding day or your portrait photo session.
